Establishing a Pacific Northwest M.A. Center
The Pacific Northwest Amma Community is looking forward to the establishment of a new Pacific Northwest M.A. Center. The Amrita Mela Fundraiser will provide some of the funding necessary to purchase a property where we can gather and continue to serve our local communities and support Embracing the World, Amma's global humanitarian projects. www.embracingtheworld.org
A permanent home base for our non-profit organization will make it easier for us to serve communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our current projects include: providing meals for the homeless, raising environmental awareness, picking up litter in our neighborhoods and parks, planting trees and vegetable gardens, collecting food and clothing for the needy, recycling, and collaborating with other non-profit organizations to support local humanitarian projects.
Our vision of a serene open space, surrounded by natural beauty, can also be used for retreats, classes, workshops, and community gatherings.
